How to setup the dsp crash dump utility.

 
What is it?
DSP Crash Dump tool will enable the DSP to dump the entire DSP registers and memory into a file. Please only use the below information when requested by development engineering (or for your own edification). :)
How to configure DSP crash dump to capture DSP contents
In order to use DSP crash dump, you need to set up howmany crash files you want to capture, and you need to set up where to put the crashdump files.


To set up where the crash dump file should go, use the config
mode and set up:
voice dsp crash-dump destination <URL>
voice dsp crash-dump file-limit <number>

Syntax: A.B.C.D-E

• Field Definitions followed by (number range):
• A = Major Release Number - A (1-255)
• B = Minor Release Number - B (0-255)
• C = Maintenance Release Number - C (0-65535)
• D = Build Type / ES Release Number - D (10000-59999)
• Field D format = XYzzz where X , Y and z represent digit positions:
• digit position indicates the Feature Branch, FCS and Respin number.

Currently defined values are:

• 0 = “below the line” Feature Branch
• 1 = FCS build
• [2-9] = respins.
• Y = This digit is used when we create a Service Update. Values are 1-9.
• zzz = 000 for FCS loads.
• zzz greater than 000 = the ES Release Number. Possible values range from 001 to 999.
• When Y or X increments, zzz is not reset and continues being incremented.
• X increments in the ES build number when the Respin can upgrade to the ES load line, ie when the ES build is a superset of the Respin.
• Y increments in the ES build number when the SU can upgrade to the ES load line, ie when the ES build is a superset of the SU.
